The records shown are results from the GBI files of registered sex offenders. Not all registered sex offenders in Middle Georgia are shown. Many reside in prisons, and the mapping tools don't allow users to see multiple dots on the same address. For example, all sex offenders who reside in the Bibb County jail would have the same address, but users would only be able to see one dot. Other registered offenders have no known address, are listed as homeless or have an physical address that can't be located on a map. Some of these could be input errors from the state agency.
